At W & G Lawyers, we believe in giving back to the community that we are privileged to serve. Recently, we were proud to support St Philomena, a local high school, in their Jogathon Fundraiser.
One of our valued office support staff, Isabel Pope, invited us to take part in the initiative, and we were delighted to sponsor her efforts. The fundraiser was dedicated to raising funds for the school’s sports department to lay the foundations for a new oval and block of classrooms.
Thanks to the dedication of students, staff, families, and supporters, the fundraiser exceeded all expectations. Together, the community raised an outstanding $106,762, surpassing the initial $90,000 target. This achievement reflects the remarkable spirit of collaboration and commitment within our local community.
We are honoured that our contribution played a small part in helping make the new oval a reality, and supporting our youth in providing new opportunities for sports and recreation.
