Simone Garcia

Solicitor

Simone Garcia is a Solicitor at W & G Lawyers, working across civil litigation, property transactions, contract review, estate planning and immigration matters. She brings a thoughtful, people-focused approach to every matter she handles.

Simone holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) with a major in Psychology, a Bachelor of Laws (Honours), and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. Her academic background across both law and psychology gives her an uncommon perspective in legal practice — one that values not only the technical rigour of the law, but the human context in which legal problems arise.

Before and during her legal studies, Simone worked with families navigating domestic violence and child protection matters. That experience shaped her understanding of trauma, vulnerability and the practical realities people face when their lives are in conflict or transition. She carries that awareness into her legal work — communicating with empathy, presenting complex information in plain language, and ensuring clients feel informed and supported throughout their matter.

Simone has a particular interest in elder law, including estate planning, wills, probate, succession and the legal issues affecting older Australians in retirement — including residential park and lifestyle village arrangements. She understands that decisions made at this stage of life carry lasting consequences for individuals and their families, and she takes care to ensure those decisions are properly supported by clear legal advice.

She is also developing her practice in commercial law, with a focus on commercial leasing and building contract review — areas where precise analysis of contractual terms and risk allocation is critical for both business owners and property clients.

Outside the office, Simone enjoys reading, spending time with family and connecting with nature.
